unequally yoked....

Today, infact just right now this evening, I have had a most astounding experience. I do not like to travel in matatus with loud music, especially if the music isn’t Christian. Mhh.
I got myself into one today. Many lessons, especially on marriages of unequal yoking
1. They lure you
2. You get in
3. They remain who they originally were though they said they’d change for you
4. They continue to grow in that e.g. louder, harder beating music
5. When you raise a word, they clearly show you that you are in their territory and are therefore subject to them
I wonder how bad this can get for marital relationships. Putting up with so much defiant character and behaviors, and that are only growing deeper into what they already are. Eew!

Other thoughts I’ve had today
1. Salvation has a lot to do with judgment day, and quite some to do with living a meaningful life here on earth. On judgment day, the saved will go to heaven, and the unsaved to hell - eternal fire and damnation. The works of the saved, validified by the blood of Jesus, will come out as silver and gold, but those not, shall be burned as grass to ashes. How sad
So salvation:-
A. secures a good eternity
B. Gives life meaning while here on earth, knowing that whatever one does matters for eternity.

I also thought about God’s purposeful placement of each person, and the way it has a special meaning each time.
I also thought about the salon experience. One leaves the salon feeling great and confident, and with a tinge of special feeling because one has been “made” or “readied” or “specially prepared.” I think it’s the same with God. But we have got to surrender ourselves to His making, His preparation, His molding of our character.
So much for now, more later…
Feel free to comment.
Cheers ya’ll,
Princess.
